Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Store Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming shopping environment for our customers. In this role, you will be the friendly face that assists customers with their needs, manages product displays, and ensures the store operates smoothly. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet their needs and answer inquiries. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain organized merchandise displays through merchandising, stocking, and rotating products to ensure attractive presentation. Conduct stock checks, manage inventory levels, and restock shelves efficiently to keep the store well-supplied. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support store operations by supervising team members when needed and ensuring adherence to company policies. Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-focused attitude are essential. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to guide team members effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math is highly desirable. Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments can be beneficial. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are key qualities for success in this role.
