RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

Vintage Clothing Co. has been a part of St. George Street since 2005 . We are a fun, family-friendly retail store specializing in beachwear, resort and casual clothing, souvenirs, and fun items for kids and families . We are looking for motivated, reliable, sales-focused team members who enjoy working with people and want to be part of a busy downtown tourist environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is: Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with customers Sales-driven and motivated to earn commission Reliable, punctual, and committed to their scheduled shifts Clean, neat, organized, and detail-oriented Able to stay busy and productive without constant supervision Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Honest, responsible, and dependable Able to problem-solve and use good judgment Positive, hardworking, and willing to help wherever needed Comfortable working with both tourists and local customers Previous retail or sales experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are what matter most.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our Sales Associates do much more than work the register.

You will:

Welcome customers and provide friendly, helpful service Engage with customers and actively assist with sales Recommend products and help customers find what they need Learn our merchandise and confidently answer product questions Process cash, credit, and other payments accurately Keep the sales floor clean, neat, and organized Restock and straighten merchandise throughout the day Maintain displays and the overall appearance of the store Assist with daily cleaning and general store operations Work as part of a team during busy tourist periods Maintain scheduled shifts and communicate appropriately with management

WEEKENDS & EVENINGS ARE IMPORTANT

Weekend and evening availability is required. We are a downtown tourist store, and our busiest hours are often weekends, holidays, evenings, and peak tourist periods . Reliable availability during these times is an important part of this position.
