Overnight Sales Associate

Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience and driving sales through your knowledge of our offerings and commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations and answer customer inquiries. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays. Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Uphold company policies regarding customer service, returns, and exchanges while maintaining a positive shopping environment. Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A proactive attitude towards learning about products and enhancing product knowledge for better customer engagement.
