Golf Cart Attendant Titusville, FL 32780 Part-time, Full-time Part-time, Full-time Golf Course Beverage Cart Attendant Job Description Reports To Food & Beverage Manager Position Summary The Beverage Cart Attendant provides exceptional customer service to golfers by selling and serving beverages, snacks, and other approved merchandise from the beverage cart while maintaining a professional, friendly, and welcoming presence throughout the golf course. This position helps enhance the golfing experience by ensuring players have convenient access to refreshments and quality service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service Greet golfers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide outstanding customer service to members, residents, guests, and tournament participants. Promote a positive image of the golf course and community. Respond to customer requests and concerns courteously and efficiently. Beverage Cart Operations Operate the beverage cart safely and responsibly throughout the golf course. Sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and approved merchandise. Verify age identification and comply with all state and local alcohol service laws. Maintain proper inventory levels throughout the shift. Restock beverages, snacks, ice, cups, and supplies as needed. Ensure products are properly stored and maintained at appropriate temperatures. Cash Handling and Sales Accurately process cash, credit card, and electronic payments. Maintain an accurate sales record and cash bank. Reconcile daily sales and inventory at the end of each shift. Follow company procedures regarding cash handling and reporting. Cart Maintenance Inspect beverage cart before and after each shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart. Ensure coolers, storage compartments, and serving areas are sanitary and stocked. Report mechanical issues, damages, or safety concerns to management immediately. Safety and Compliance Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Adhere to responsible alcohol service requirements. Operate the cart in a safe manner and follow golf course traffic rules. Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous customer service, food service, retail, or hospitality experience preferred. Ability to obtain any required alcohol service certification. Valid driver's license preferred. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity. Ability to drive a beverage cart safely for extended periods. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Work Environment Outdoor golf course setting with frequent interaction with residents, members, guests, and staff. Exposure to varying weather conditions and seasonal temperatures. Performance Expectations Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Deliver exceptional customer service. Accurately handle inventory and cash transactions. Follow all safety, alcohol service, and company policies. Contribute to a positive experience for golfers and community residents. Typical Schedule Part-time or full-time positions available. Morning, afternoon, weekend, holiday, and tournament shifts may be required. Flexible scheduling based on golf course operations and seasonal demand.
