This position requires someone who is dependable, professional, customer-service oriented, and willing to assist wherever needed to ensure the facility operates smoothly. Primary responsibilities include assisting with daily golf operations, managing tee times and golfer check-in, tournament and league operations, merchandising, member and guest services, and maintaining a professional and welcoming golf shop environment. This is a hands-on position that extends beyond traditional golf shop responsibilities. The Assistant Golf Professional must be willing to assist with golf cart operations, including staging, cleaning, charging, and basic troubleshooting of the cart fleet. The position will also provide support to the kitchen and bar when needed, particularly during busy periods, tournaments, outings, and special events.
