Job Description

Golf Course Starter - Part Time Southport Springs Golf & Country Club $15 per hour $15 per hour Overview Golf Course Starters are responsible for maintaining starting times, tee sheets, and ensuring golfers get to their first tee in a prompt and orderly manner. They are an important part of making sure customers have a pleasant golfing experience. Job Duties Monitors the 1st and 10th tee starting times and verifies green free receipts (Essential) Monitors the flow of play from one nine to the next and advises pro shop team or General Manager of any potential issues (Essential) Collaborates with pro shop team members to ensure tee time sheet is up to date (Essential) Ensures all residents and guests adhere to the golf course dress code Assists golfers to find a game if they are playing alone Markets the golf course memberships and special rates to the daily fee players Communicates with residents and guests of the golf course in a friendly and courteous manner Other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma or GED (Required) Excellent customer service and communication skills Professional appearance Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet Must have a valid driver's license
