Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating firearms, hunting gear, fishing supplies, apparel, and other accessories with enthusiasm and professionalism Demonstrate product features through engaging demos and explain benefits to help customers make informed purchasing decisions Operate a computer efficiently Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, well-merchandised, and fully stocked at all times Process retail transactions efficiently using cash registers, handle cash drawer balancing, and maintain accurate retail math Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with courteous phone etiquette and clear communication skills Experience Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially within sporting goods or related industries Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership qualities and the ability to oversee daily store operations when needed Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math calculations essential for smooth transactions Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and inventory stocking practices is advantageous Strong communication skills paired with excellent customer service orientation are key to success in this role Experience conducting product demos or upselling techniques will help maximize sales potential This vibrant role invites energetic individuals eager to share their passion for sports while delivering outstanding service.
