The Hwy 42 Package Store is looking for Cashier/Liquor Store Clerk staff with customer service and cash register experience to join the team. This role requires positive customer engagement and the creation of a welcoming atmosphere, a familiarity with store operations, and maintaining the store and inventory.

Primary Duties:

Greet customers and offer a positive customer service experience Be familiar with the store and be able to guide customers to items as needed Be comfortable with money handling, working the cash register, and the POS system Stock shelves, organize merchandise as needed, and related tasks General cleaning and upkeep of the store areas Understand the basic relevant laws and regulations for the sale of liquor Other tasks as assigned by manager

Preferred Experience:

Previous cashiering experience in retail or liquor store environments Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and money handling Experience assisting and engaging with customers

Note:

This can be a physically demanding position and may include lifting up to 25-50 pounds

Pay:

$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
