This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in marketing, sales, and to a lesser extend design within a vibrant industry. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with contractors and remodelers to understand their needs, and budget for cabinetry projects Manage inside sales activities including POS transactions, cash handling, and customer inquiries to ensure seamless service delivery Coordinate with contractors or homeowners providing specifications for cabinetry, design and installation (Basic training will be provided) Develop organizational systems for stock management, merchandising displays, and product demos to optimize retail space and enhance customer experience Engage in negotiation with clients on project scope, pricing, and upgrades while maintaining excellent communication skills throughout the sales process Assist with marketing efforts by showcasing new products and design ideas to attract potential customers Maintain a thorough understanding of retail math principles to accurately assess costs, margins, and profitability Experience Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within the retail or wholesale cabinetry, renovation, or interior design industry is highly preferred Familiarity in SketchUp and CAD software for layout design; familiarity with lighting design tools is a plus Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling, and account management to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of remodeling processes, construction standards, maintenance practices, and lighting sales strategies is a plus Multilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse clientele effectively Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, stock control, and project coordination Exceptional communication skills in English; additional language skills are considered a valuable asset Embark on a rewarding career where your creativity meets technical expertise!
