In this role, you'll evaluate and appraise a variety of items, facilitate loans, and ensure a seamless customer experience. Duties Customer service is always first and the highest priority.. Assess and appraise customer items for pawn loans or resale value with accuracy and confidence Provide exceptional customer service by explaining pawn processes, product features, and store policies clearly Manage cash handling duties including till management, balancing registers, and processing transactions and loans efficiently Upsell merchandise and additional services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive shopping environment Help maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store is clean and inviting Use POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, recordkeeping, and inventory management Supervise junior staff or trainees when necessary, providing guidance on customer interactions and store procedures Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors Assist with inventory management by stocking new merchandise and conducting regular stock checks Experience Previous pawn sales experience preferred, especially in jewelry, electronics, firearms or coins/bullion Supervising experience in a retail or customer service environment highly desirable Familiarity with basic math, POS systems and cash handling procedures required Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are a plus Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for transactions and inventory counts Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance Knowledge of retail merchandising standards and stock management practices Join us to be part of the best Pawn Team in Atlanta.
