Who We're Looking For Our ideal experienced candidate has 1-2+ years of post-frame construction experience and is ready to put those skills to work. Don't have direct post-frame experience? We are willing to train the right person who has strong carpentry, framing, or construction experience and the ability and desire to learn Greiner Buildings' construction standards. Responsibilities:
Follow Greiner Buildings' safety standards and construction procedures. Read and understand building plans, specifications, and Foreman instructions. Construct high-quality post-frame buildings according to customer specifications and GB standards. Dig and install footings and structural components. Frame walls and roof structures. Install windows, doors, siding, roofing, metal, and wood trim. Safely operate construction hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Work effectively with Foremen and other crew members. Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site. Provide professional and respectful customer service while working on customers' properties. Qualifications Previous post-frame construction experience preferred. Carpentry, framing, roofing, or related construction experience strongly considered. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license and/or the ability to report to our Washington shop Monday-Friday at 6:00 AM . Ability to perform physically demanding construction work year-round and in varying weather conditions. Ability and willingness to work at heights of up to 30 feet. Dependable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a crew. Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on project and weather demands. Strong attention to quality and craftsmanship. Pay & Benefits Entry-level starting wage: $20/hour Experienced post-frame builders have the opportunity to negotiate a competitive starting wage based on their experience and skill level.
