Use point-of-sale, payment, inventory, timekeeping, and customer-management systems accurately; protect client information and follow cash-handling, payment-security, and loss-prevention procedures. Professional & Interpersonal Skills The Sales Associate represents the Heritage Haus brand in every interaction and must demonstrate discretion, reliability, emotional intelligence, and polished communication. The role requires the ability to build trust quickly, listen carefully, manage expectations, and provide thoughtful product guidance while collaborating effectively with designers, vendors, delivery partners, and other team members. Exceptional listening skills and the ability to ask thoughtful questions that uncover client needs and preferences. Clear, confident, and professional verbal and written communication, including phone, email, and text follow-up. Ability to build trust and lasting client relationships without using high-pressure sales tactics. Sound judgment and professional problem-solving when addressing questions, concerns, pricing, or service issues.
