Job Summary:

We are seeking passionate and customer-focused Retail Store Associates (PT) to join our team at The Pieceful Project, a retail store specializing in LEGO, board games, trading card games, and puzzles. As a Retail Store Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining inventory levels, and contributing to the overall success of our store. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing retail venture in Cary, IL.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and product information Maintain a tidy and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience- Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives Assist in setting up and executing marketing initiatives and promotional events Contribute to the overall success of the store by performing various tasks as needed Brick sorting for our BrickLink website More focused organization of the store and aesthetics

Requirements:

Previous experience in retail or customer service (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities (NOT required but a plus!) LEGO, board game, trading card game, or puzzle knowledge (NOT required but a plus!) Comfortability hosting groups of people for events, leagues, birthday parties, and more Willingness to engage with customers proactively We have many opportunities for growth within the company.
