Job Summary We are a European-style chocolate shop in need of full-time Store Associate. Applicants should be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment and personable to work in a small store and kitchen. We are a small staff that works well together and looking to add to our team. We are seeking that special person that loves to help customers, is creative, listens, learns, and can work with and without direction. Work includes finishing, packaging and bowing everything for sale that comes from the kitchen, maintaining inventory, store appearance, shipping and shipping process software , as well as helping customers both in the store and online/on the phone. Our brand is our product, our way of packaging, our way of presenting our product. Must be able to stand all day and lift 20+ pounds as needed. As a small business, we do it all from carrying in shipments of materials, to creation of product, to maintaining the kitchen and shop and helping in the kitchen as needed. Position is full-time, typically Monday through Friday, 10:00am-6:30/7:00pm, but flexibility required. Minimum 1 year commitment desired. Belgian Chocolatier Piron is an award-winning and internationally recognized Chocolatier, serving the Chicago area since 1983. Everything is made in-house in our Evanston kitchen, using bulk chocolate imported from Belgium, and flavors and ingredients from all over the world. We make all of our delicacies by hand with great care and skill, and never are any preservatives, stabilizers or extenders used. Our chocolates are made the way chocolates should be - naturally, with attention to detail, presentation, and taste.
