Pro Shop & Retail Associate

Salt Creek Club is seeking a motivated, energetic, and hospitality-focused individual to join our team as a Pro Shop & Retail Associate . This is a part-time position to start, with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys retail, merchandising, fashion, hospitality, and member engagement in an active club environment. The role is centered around the Tennis Center and Pro Shop, while also supporting club events, tournaments, and the overall member experience throughout the year. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, creative, and excited about helping elevate the retail and merchandise experience at Salt Creek Club. Position Responsibilities Assist members and guests with Pro Shop purchases and customer service Build relationships with members and become familiar with member preferences and buying trends Help create and maintain an elevated, welcoming, and member-ready Tennis Center environment Manage retail displays, visual merchandising, and overall presentation of the Pro Shop Source apparel, accessories, gifts, and Pro Shop merchandise that align with the Salt Creek Club brand and member interests Coordinate custom embroidery, logo application, screen printing, and other merchandise customization with vendors Manage league uniforms, team apparel, and custom club gear orders Coordinate event-specific merchandise and sponsorship-related apparel or promotional items for tournaments, socials, and club events Assist with vendor relationships, including apparel reps, decorators, embroiderers, printers, and local suppliers Help manage inventory levels, sizing runs, reorders, receiving, tagging, stocking, and seasonal merchandise transitions Assist with point-of-sale operations, cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and daily Pro Shop operations Help promote merchandise through club communications and social media content when needed Support tournaments, socials, member events, and hospitality functions throughout the year Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the Tennis Center and Pro Shop Assist with light operational and facility oversight duties as the point person during shifts Qualifications Previous retail, apparel, merchandising, hospitality, or buying experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Strong sense of presentation, branding, and visual merchandising Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Ability to multitask in a fast-paced club environment Interest in tennis, racquet sports, country clubs, fashion, or hospitality is a plus Experience working with apparel vendors, decorators, embroidery vendors, or merchandise programs is preferred Comfortable with light lifting, unpacking shipments, moving merchandise displays, and standing for extended periods Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and seasonal events Ideal Candidate Has an eye for fashion, presentation, and club lifestyle retail Enjoys interacting with members and creating a welcoming atmosphere Takes ownership and pride in maintaining a polished facility environment Comfortable balancing retail sales, operations, hospitality, and organizational responsibilities Excited to help grow and evolve the Salt Creek Club merchandise program Brings a positive attitude and team-first mentality

Compensation & Opportunities Pay Range:
