The ideal candidate is a strong closer who is comfortable working from technician diagnoses and guiding homeowners through repair versus replacement decisions. You will support three Aire Serv locations across the Chicagoland area, operating with consistent systems while driving sales performance across all territories. As Aire Serv's Sales Associate/Home Comfort Designer, you are a key member of our team who proactively generates residential and commercial sales and nurtures client relationships. You will be responsible for visiting residential homes to determine their HVAC needs and make the appropriate recommendations for system replacement or air quality upgrades based on Technician diagnoses and homeowner comfort preferences. You will also be responsible for generating relationships with office buildings or complexes, commercial buildings and multi-family complexes for annual maintenance, service and replacement of equipment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, builds trust easily, relies on prompt and transparent communication and shows a bias for action. Communication and follow-up are top priorities in your daily process. Total compensation opportunity of $60,000 to $110,000+ (Base+Commission) | Full time position Specific Responsibilities Hold weekly prospecting hours for lead generation yet have availability for in-person calls each day, possibly including some evenings to accommodate customer availability. Follow up on assigned service opportunities, using technician-provided diagnoses to identify and present system upgrade options to homeowners. Effectively communicate repair vs. replacement options. Build trust with customers through clear, professional communication. In-home visits with residential clients to determine their HVAC needs and make the appropriate recommendations for system replacement and air quality upgrades. Phone and in-person visits to office buildings/complexes, commercial buildings and multi-family complexes to generate annual maintenance contracts, service contracts and present proposals for replacement of equipment. Regular communication with our install team and client follow up before and after each job Complete all necessary paperwork to include: agreements, finance documents, heat gain and loss calculations, installation notes and rebate forms. Lead generation activities include attending networking events, home shows and community events and making outbound calls. Attend weekly Aire Serv coaching & development sessions.
Job Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build trust and communicate value quickly. Ability to translate technical HVAC diagnoses into clear, customer-facing recommendations. Expected minimum annual sales generated to be $750,000• Motivated individual with a professional appearance is a must! Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record Prior HVAC industry experience is preferred Prior in-home sales experience preferred Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications Good organizational and time management skills to insure scheduled deadlines are metBenefits:
