Kilwins Park Ridge is looking for part-time store associates who are available to work weekday daytime and evening shifts as well as some weekend availability with flexibility to work around other obligations such as college courses or other jobs. We are seeking candidates who are upbeat and friendly, reliable, good with people, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. We offer a fun work environment with flexible hours, on-the-job training and certification. This is an entry level position. Basic Employee Functions Must be available to work daytimes, evenings and weekends Must be able to communicate well with customers and staff Must be able to follow company policies and procedures Must be able to read and follow specific recipes Must be able to review and log data and make basic decisions Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to perform repetitive tasks Must be able to lift things from bottom shelves and above head Must be able to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store Must be able to follow all food safety practices Kilwins is an owner-operator franchise offering a variety of confections and is managed by the business owners. We strive hard to offer our customers a unique shopping experience and exceptional customer service. We offer a variety of confections, including chocolates, fudge, caramel products, and ice cream. Approximately 50% of our product is made in-store and 75% packaged in-store. Store employees, in addition to customer service also assist in making and packaging products for sale in the store.
