We are looking for Sales Associates with future managerial potential. The ideal candidate would have or be working on a degree in Vet Tech, Animal Science or other related field, and/or have pet, horse, or livestock experience, and demonstrate a passion for and interest in growing their knowledge and experience in animal nutrition. They must show outstanding customer service through previous jobs and demonstrate a professional, engaging personality with the ability to problem solve. Sales Associates are the face of our business to the public and demonstrate our commitment to provide outstanding, personalized customer service to create long-term customer relationships. They work closely with customers and use all resources available to support customer inquiries. JOB DESCRIPTION

The job of a Sales Associate is like a Swiss army knife because it has many components: helping customers determine the best products for their pet's needs, operating registers, assembling feed orders, loading products into vehicles (must be able to lift 50 lb bags into a customer's car), stocking sections, creating displays, and keeping the store looking presentable. Our Sales Associates provide exceptional customer service, greet and assist every customer, and answer questions on pet, horse, and livestock nutrition and care.

CREDENTIALS

We are looking for highly enthusiastic, energetic, positive, hard-working, and self-motivated individuals with excellent people skills and an eagerness to learn. Must show a desire to be in this industry: ie a degree in (or working toward a degree in) vet tech, animal science, veterinary medicine, agri-business, or related field, farm experience or a background in the pet industry, or hands-on experience working with or knowledge of pets, horses, and livestock.
