Job Description
George's Family Pharmacy, Inc. is a family owned and operated business dedicated to providing home medical equipment, prescription medication, respiratory services, insurance, and home modification solutions throughout Indiana and into Ohio and Kentucky. With multiple locations throughout Indiana, we offer a one-stop-shop with that hometown feel committed to providing convenient access to prescription medications, home medical equipment, home modification solutions and more. Position Overview We are rapidly growing and have an immediate opening for a part-time Sales Clerk . We are seeking candidates with excellent customer service and communication skills. In this role, you will be focused on delivering superior service to our customers while also increasing sales. Tasks may include, but not be limited to, driving merchandise sales, operating computer/cash register, assisting the pharmacy staff, making bank deposits, and cleaning and stocking inventory, making deliveries or running errands. This position will be primarily at our Batesville, IN store for 15-20 hours per week and two Saturdays a month. However, travel to our other stores may be requested as needed. Batesville store hours are M-F 8:30am-6:00pm & Sat. 9:00am-2:00pm. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Must have a Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record 1+years customer service exp. Able to climb, reach, bend, lift at least 20 pounds and stand for long periods of time Skills and Competencies Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling patient information Work both autonomously and be a team player as necessary Self-starter, organized, multi-tasker, detail-oriented Effective oral and written communication Time management, problem-solving ability Technology literate
