Doorperson Dorman Street Saloon Indianapolis, IN Job Details Part-time From $15 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Door Person Sunday night, Wednesday night, Thursday Night, and Saturday night. Shifts start at 8 pm. Position includes checking IDs, light bussing, closing the patio. Mostly staying by the door and verifying IDs. $15 an hour
Duties:
Check IDs of patrons, making sure they're valid. High attention to detail. Must be mentally present and aware. Ensuring building, patron and staff safety by monitoring entrances and visitors. Ability to respond to emergencies in a calm and professional demeanor. Keeping open communication with the bartenders throughout the entire shift. Being able to communicate with a diverse range of guests clearly and in a concise manner, with respect. Help manage flow into and out of the bar at peak times. Maintaining a clean and orderly entrance. Occasional light bussing, cleaning tables, pushing chairs in, setting up candles on tables, folding towels, closing cleaning duties. Appreciation for an old building with quirks is a plus. Ability to get a liquor license preferred.
