Job Description
Overview Join our family owned and operated as a Design/Sales Professional and become a vital part of transforming spaces into stunning, functional environments! In this energetic role, you will combine your passion for interior design with your sales expertise to deliver exceptional service to clients. You'll guide customers through the design process, showcase innovative solutions, and help bring their visions to life with confidence and creativity. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a vibrant, collaborative setting while making a tangible impact on clients' homes and lifestyles. Responsibilities Engage with clients to understand their interior design needs, preferences, and project goals. Present design concepts, mood boards, and material selections. Assist clients in selecting finishes, furniture, lighting solutions, and color schemes by applying principles of color theory and lighting design. Assist in showroom merchandising and non-selling activities (answering phones, cleaning the showroom, opening/closing procedures) Manage residential interior design projects from initial consultation through installation, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Stay informed about current trends in interior design, building codes, and construction practices to ensure innovative yet compliant solutions. Experience At least 3 years background in sales and design is preferred. Strong client communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear explanations for clients.
