POSITION SUMMARY

Join the amazing team that is Gameday Spririt Fanstore! We are passionate about collegiate athletics and supporting our local campus spirit! A Sales Associate's main responsibility is to serve our customers by selling Ball State fan gear and creating an engaging shopping experience in our store. This begins with the Sales Associate meeting and greeting customers, informing them of the store's current specials and product deals. This employee folds garments and restocks shelves when not serving the customer. This employee must be courteous and willing to work with customers and other employees openly and congenially. This employee must show flexibility, as their duties, hours and operational procedures may be changed. Sales Associates must be able to adapt to a complex environment and maintain composure in order to interact in a professional manner with a variety of customers.

Maintain a retail floor presence close to customers to ensure customer service and help control loss prevention Inform customers of our current specials and deals Maintain a professional appearance, wear company logo apparel, no shorts, flip flops, or sandals while working the retail floor Listen carefully to customers' needs and take control of the sale to achieve a profitable resolution of those needs Sell products to customers and suggest additional merchandise Stay informed on products to be able to communicate in an informative manner with customers Fold and tag garments when customers are not present or as assigned when additional sales associates are working the retail floor Restock merchandise when customers are not present or as assigned when additional sales associates are working the retail floor Receive and check incoming orders and shipments. Document overages and shortages. Other duties as assigned
