Sales Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while promoting our products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling. Assist in merchandising efforts by maintaining attractive product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked appropriately. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations. Experience with stocking products and maintaining inventory levels.
