Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to create a positive shopping experience Assist customers in selecting products, answer questions, and offer personalized recommendations to meet their needs Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, processing shipments, and organizing backroom inventory efficiently Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Skills Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments, preferably in grocery stores or similar settings Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in bilingual settings if applicable Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as product demos, stocking, and visual displays effectively Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership growth within the store team Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to handle customer inquiries professionally Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer trust This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail expertise in a fast-paced environment.
