Job Objective:
Within store guidelines, sorts product and prepares items for sale and assists customers with their purchasesEssential Functions:
Operate cash register. Keep accurate financial records reporting discrepancies to store manager Receives and selects merchandise to be displayed for sale from donated items May price items within prescribed guidelines Maintains merchandise displays in a neat and orderly appearance. Transfer stock to maintain fresh marketing appeal Rotate stock as directed by the store manager Answers questions and assists store customers May keep record of sales and inventory Assist in maintaining overall appearance, cleanliness and safe conditions in the store area Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:

High school academic background preferredExperience:
Prior sales experience or working with people in services capacity preferredCertifications/Licenses:
N/A Skills/Abilities:
Ability to understand basic written materials, communicate effectively in English Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not required Ability to handle basic cash transactionsSupervisory Responsibility:
May supervise volunteers and community service workers.Physical Requirements:
Include speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity; bending, squatting and walking; ability to perform the duties of the lifting, pulling and pushing of merchandise up to 25 pounds; sitting up to 2-3 hours per day; standing up to 4-6 hours per day.
