Olathe, KS and nearby retail locations About the Company Free State Growers is a Midwest-based greenhouse operation supplying a diverse range of plants to retail partners. Our offerings include seasonal flowers, perennials, tropical plants, and holiday selections. We work closely with stores to create attractive, well-maintained displays that enhance the customer experience. Position Summary We're hiring a Part-Time Merchandising Associate to manage and maintain plant displays at assigned retail locations in the Olathe area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values organization, and can work independently. Key Responsibilities Set up, maintain, and refresh plant displays at assigned store locations Arrange products to create visually appealing, easy-to-shop displays Perform routine plant care, including watering, trimming, and removing damaged items Keep display areas clean and organized by removing debris and maintaining presentation standards Monitor stock levels and communicate restocking needs Collaborate with store staff to ensure displays are placed in high-traffic areas Assist with inventory counts and basic reporting Qualifications Reliable transportation to travel between Olathe-area retail locations Access to a cell phone for communication and updates Ability to work independently and stay organized Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Interest in plants, gardening, or merchandising is a plus Able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation Schedule Spring/Summer (Peak Season): Approximately 3 days per week Fall/Winter (Off Season): Approximately 2 days per week
