Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their shopping journey Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, setting up displays, and maintaining visual standards Support inventory management through stocking, organizing merchandise, and conducting stock counts Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Promote store promotions and seasonal campaigns to maximize sales opportunities Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Requirements Previous retail or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse customer base more effectively Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling is highly desirable Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for supporting team efforts Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks related to stocking and merchandising Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail sales environments is beneficial Join us as a Seasonal Associate and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while gaining valuable retail experience.
