Job Summary:
The Team Leader plays a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by coordinating daily production activities and ensuring efficient workflow within the team. While not a supervisory position, this role provides guidance to team members, facilitates communication between departments, and assists in implementing schedules, safety practices, and quality standards. The Team Leader serves as a knowledgeable resource to promote productivity, safety, and collaboration.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Promote and maintain a safe, organized work environment Prompt and reliable attendance Work required overtime schedules Comply with all safety requirements Clean work areas and machinery applying 6S methods Communicate with and provide feedback to co-workers, Group Leaders, engineers, management and others as necessary Read work instructions Use of personal computer and necessary applications (EPICOR MES, Weber Legitronic, Outlook, etc…) Obtain necessary order information Assists Group Leader in the coordination of production schedules Performs work of a Production Associate and provides necessary relief during lunch and breaks Train Production Associates, as needed Conducts pre-shift meeting with team and communicates schedules, work assignments, safety information and other information as necessary Conducts continuous improvement activities Coordinates team efforts to meet or exceed daily productivity goals and schedules Organizes production flow Obtains necessary materials for the area Coordinates with Purchasing to ensure proper inventory of materials Performs product testing as required Coordinates response to quality and production issues and problems and troubleshoots as necessary Verify that product and quantity are correct per order specifications Demonstrates a consistently positive attitude to motivate team members Shows strong initiative and motivation to support the team across various tasks and areas as needed

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Two years of production experience, preferred
Safety Adherence Statement:
The successful candidate must have the ability to understand and adhere to all company safety practices, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for self and others.
Physical Requirements:
The physical nature of the job includes but is not limited to seeing, handling, eye-hand-foot coordination, ordinary communication, ordinary hearing, turning, twisting, finger dexterity, feeling, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, carrying up to 30 pounds and pushing up to 30 pounds.
