Flexible working hours On-the-job training 401k Matching Health Insurance (after 90 days) ```Job Summary``` We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Cashier/Clerk to join our team. As a Cashier/Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring smooth transactions at the point of sale. If you have a passion for retail and sales and want to experience it from an agriculatural perspective, we would love to hear from you. ```Must Haves``` Applicants must have some retail experience. ```Duties```- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and process customer purchases efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock shelves and assist with inventory management
- Assist customers and staff in all areas of the store
- Provide guidance and recommendations to customers on product selection
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures ```Skills``` To succeed in this role, you should possess/attain the following skills:
- Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain an orderly checkout area
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette, to interact with customers effectively
- Sales-oriented mindset with a proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of farming and agronomy is a plus
