Music & Arts seeks a part-time Senior Sales Associate to support students, parents, and educators in our retail store. In this role, you will drive sales of instruments, accessories, and lessons while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include supporting rentals, scheduling lessons, maintaining displays, processing transactions, and participating in school and community outreach. You'll work in a collaborative, education-focused environment with opportunities to grow while helping students access quality instruments and music instruction. Responsibilities Drive in-store sales of instruments, accessories, and lessons to meet individual and store goals Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and educators, offering product and lesson recommendations Support rental programs for band and orchestra instruments, including agreements and basic check-in/out Maintain merchandise presentation, restock shelves, and ensure pricing and signage accuracy Assist with lesson scheduling, student enrollment, and coordination with instructors Operate POS systems accurately for sales, rentals, and returns, handling cash and card transactions Participate in local school and community outreach to promote Music & Arts programs and services Learn and communicate key product knowledge on instruments, accessories, and repair services Support inventory processes including receiving, tagging, and organizing stock Collaborate with store leadership and teammates to achieve performance and customer satisfaction goals Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale (POS) operation Cash handling Product knowledge - musical instruments Lesson scheduling and coordination Inventory management and merchandising Rental program processing Basic computer skills Communication and interpersonal skills
