In person Job Overview Golden Goose Market is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Grocery Store Associate to support daily store operations. This role helps customers, stocks merchandise, maintains organized displays, assists with checkout, and helps keep the store clean, safe, and well-stocked. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service. Stock shelves, displays, refrigerators, and other assigned areas. Rotate products and check merchandise for freshness and quality. Assist customers with locating products and answering basic questions. Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately. Handle cash, credit cards, and other approved payment methods. Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented sales areas. Receive, move, organize, and store grocery merchandise. Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs. Assist with price tags, promotions, displays, and product organization. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Support opening, closing, cleaning, and other store operations as assigned. Work cooperatively with team members to provide a positive shopping experience. Qualifications Previous grocery, retail, cashier, or customer service experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced retail environment. Comfortable handling cash and using a point-of-sale system. Ability to follow instructions, store policies, and safety procedures. Good organization and attention to detail. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift merchandise during the workday. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
