Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales accurately and handle cash, credit, or debit transactions with professionalism. Maintain store merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves, displays, and ensuring attractive presentation to boost sales. Conduct product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase store revenue. Restock shelves and manage inventory levels through stocking and merchandising activities to ensure product availability. Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels, receiving shipments, and conducting regular stock counts. Uphold store policies on age restrictions and responsible alcohol sales while practicing excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or reservations. Experience Previous retail experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or specialty beverage outlets. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings. Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and clearly. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy. Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures ensures smooth checkout experiences. Knowledge of liquor products or willingness to learn about different beverages enhances customer interactions.
