Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive memorable shopping experiences. In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that assists customers with their purchases and manages transactions efficiently. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and boosts sales. Whether handling cash, providing product insights, or ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and appealing, you'll be an essential part of our vibrant retail community. Work schedule will include every Tuesday from 3pm to 9pm. Additional hours may be scheduled as needed, so flexibility is a key factor for this role. On the job training will be provided. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a lively, professional manner Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Maintain a clean, organized sales floor through merchandising and stocking activities Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person Support inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and monitoring product availability Assist in retail sales efforts by promoting special offers and new products to maximize revenue Requirements Previous experience with POS systems and cashiering is highly preferred Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles in retail settings is a plus Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for transactions and inventory counts Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual options to serve diverse customers effectively Previous experience in liquor stores or brick and mortar retail is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally over the phone Ability to upsell products naturally while maintaining genuine customer relationships Capable of standing for extended periods, with physical dexterity for stocking and merchandising tasks Basic understanding of retail math, cash handling procedures, and sales principles Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your energy fuels exceptional customer experiences!
