Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Consultant, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive sales and create memorable shopping experiences. In this role, you will serve as a knowledgeable brand ambassador, guiding customers through product selections, demonstrating features, and ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service. Your energy and communication skills will help foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and brand loyalty. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales expertise while working in a vibrant retail setting. Duties Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation Provide detailed product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed decisions Assist with merchandising efforts, including stocking shelves and organizing displays to maximize visual appeal Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, highlighting benefits and upselling where appropriate Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, cash handling, and receipts Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock replenishments, and managing backstock efficiently Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment if applicable Proven experience in retail sales or grocery store environments with familiarity in cashiering and basic retail math Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction Experience supervising or leading team members is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities in a retail setting Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering best practices Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays creatively and efficiently Excellent phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and problem-solving skills to handle inquiries professionally Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your retail career!
Pay:
$20.00 - $29.23 per hour
