Budtender FT/PT

Now hiring Budtenders The Budtender is a critical component of Flower & Soul to ensure smooth and successful service of our customers. Budtenders are salespeople with retail experience and product knowledge who make sure every customer is given the time and attention needed to select the proper cannabis products to ensure a great experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Serving every customer with top notch customer service and product knowledge.
• Making eye contact, smiling and promptly greeting all customers and welcoming them to Flower & Soul
• Determining each customer's need and answers questions concerning strains and products. If necessary, partners with managers to ensure the customer's experience is met.
• Recommending additional and complementary products and/or strains based on the information provided by the customer or item already selected for purchase.
• Helping to eliminate and/or reduce potential theft of product by attention to detail.
• Ensuring that the correct price, product, tax and/or discounts are applied correctly to each sale.
• Taking initiative to stay informed on new or existing products and is knowledgeable about their ingredients and potential benefits to better serve customers.
• Identifying and converts on upselling opportunities.
• Assisting in the packaging and labeling of cannabis products.
• Other tasks as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements & Preferences:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 1 year of experience in retail, restaurant or service-related environments. Cannabis preferred.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Must possess a valid driver's license or identification and have reliable transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math and computer skills including Microsoft office and Google Docs.
• Open availability including nights, weekends and some holidays
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, high transaction volume, team environment.
• Poses good organizational and decision-making skills.
• Analytical, detail oriented and proactive.
• Desire to improve skill set and willingness to learn and take feedback and coaching.
• Continuous mobility through the dispensary daily including but not limited to standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching throughout the shift.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
