In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, guiding customers through their product selections, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Your expertise in cannabis products and retail sales will help enhance the customer experience while promoting responsible use. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences. Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on various strains, consumption methods, and effects. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions. Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of merchandise through effective merchandising techniques. Stock shelves and ensure inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Upsell products by effectively communicating features and benefits to customers. Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all health and safety guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience in cannabis retail sales or cannabis customer service is required; customer service in a retail cannabis store a plus Familiarity with cannabis products is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers effectively. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our community. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are essential. Supervising experience is a plus for potential leadership opportunities within the team. Ability to demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone. A passion for cannabis culture and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
