Duties Greet customers warmly, providing product demos and personalized recommendations to enhance their experience Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations Maintain visual merchandising standards and stock shelves to ensure an appealing shopping environment Conduct security patrols of the premises, monitor CCTV footage, and enforce safety protocols to prevent theft or disturbances Verify customer age and identification in compliance with state regulations, ensuring responsible sales practices Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, merchandising, and inventory counts Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring clear communication at all times Qualifications Prior retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment, with strong customer service skills Supervising experience is a plus; ability to lead by example and support team members effectively Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening Experience conducting product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities Ability to perform security duties such as patrolling premises, monitoring CCTV, and enforcing safety policies Basic math skills for cash transactions and inventory management Knowledge of security protocols and experience in a security role preferred but not required Join us to be part of an energetic team that values safety, exceptional service, and community engagement.
