Lovell's is a family owned and operated Garden Center, Nursery and Florist as well as Accents Gift Shop, located in Medfield, MA. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and outstanding product from gardening supplies to trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and a greenhouse full of houseplants. All positions require activity both indoors and outdoors. Full-time, Part-time and seasonal positions require weekend availability. Must have positive attitude and enthusiastic personality and be able to work well with others. Must be reliable.

Garden Center Associate:

(Salary based on experience) Prior experience in a garden center preferred Knowledgeable about plant care, pests, lawn issues and remedies, fertilizers for trees/shrubs. Customer service; including but not limited to greeting customer, answering questions about merchandise, loading merchandise in customer vehicle when necessary. Create visually appealing displays and ensure proper signage and pricing Keep Garden Center stocked with seasonal merchandise Be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 + lb plant trays, bagged goods (soil and fertilizer), firewood bundles, ice melt, etc. Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision

Greenhouse Associate:

(Salary based on experience) Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills are a must Prior greenhouse experience preferred with knowledge of plant care. plants. Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision Keep retail greenhouse neat and orderly and general plant maintenance, watering, feeding, etc. Oversee and participate in planting of customer planters and retail planters as needed

Nursery Associate:

(Salary based on experience) Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills are a must Knowledge of trees/shrubs and perennials care and maintenance

Cashier Associate:

(Salary based on experience) Answer phones and be able to direct inquiries to the proper person Take mulch orders and florist orders accurately and clearly Help customers within the store Light store maintenance Operate cash register Weekends and holidays may be required

Accents Gift Shop Associate:

(Salary based on experience) Some retail and customer service experience is preferred Weekend availability is a must
