Retail Associate

Newburyport, ma We are looking for an energetic, outgoing retail associate to assist our clients with their home decor, furnishing and lifestyle goods in our home store.

OVERVIEW A

Retail Associate is responsible for assisting customers as they shop within our brand's flagship store, Baran. Home. The duties include greeting customers, answering questions related to the merchandise and store policies as well as assisting customer's with their styling and decorating needs. This is a part time role RESPONSiBILITIES Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store Assessing customers' needs and suggesting solutions to their problems Working with our POS system (Shopify) and processing payments Setting and attaining sales goals Giving customers advice about sales and promotions Recommending the best products to customers to suite their needs Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing Support our team at live and online events Distinguish, grow and engage with clients' online audience. Fulfill all online order and prepare for shipment. Maintaining daily communication with our customers via email Create a positive and friendly customer experience at all times Assist our walk in customers with styling help Create product lables + add inventory to POS Style shop as new product launches Prepare the shop for pop up and holiday styling Assist in all in store events

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years retail experience preferred Someone who prides themselves on extreme attention to detail Strong communication skills (written and verbal) The confidence and skills to communicate your ideas clearly to clients and the team The ability to handle a fast paced work environment. Strong leadership ability and self-motivation Available both weekdays and weekends A great attitude!
