Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Camera Image Quality Tuning Engineer to optimize and deliver superior image quality across our echo device portfolio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Qualcomm or MediaTek platforms and a proven track record in camera tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end camera tuning on Qualcomm/MediaTek platforms
• Optimize image quality parameters for various lighting conditions and use cases
• Configure and optimize image processing parameters (sharpening, noise reduction, color reproduction)
• Create and maintain tuning documentation
• Work with validation teams to verify image quality improvements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mobile camera tuning
• Proven experience with either Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms and camera tuning tools, or MediaTek platforms and camera tuning tools
• Experience with objective and subjective image quality evaluation
• Proficiency in camera testing under various lighting conditions
• Familiarity with image quality metrics and testing methodologies

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multiple OEM camera tuning projects
• Understanding of computational photography

Technical Requirements:

• Expertise in using camera tuning tools (Qualcomm/MediaTek)
• Understanding of RAW image processing
• Knowledge of common image quality issues and solutions
• Experience with lab equipment for camera testing.
