Duties Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions and cash drawer management with precision. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections. Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring store cleanliness to maintain an inviting atmosphere. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to increase sales. Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and product organization efforts. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued for connecting with diverse customers. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Experience in cashiering, retail math, and retail store product knowledge is advantageous.
