Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cannabis Product Specialist, where your enthusiasm and expertise will create an engaging and welcoming environment for customers exploring our premium cannabis products. In this energetic role, you'll serve as a knowledgeable guide, assisting customers with product selections, providing demos, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service through active listening and personalized recommendations Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on various cannabis products, including edibles, concentrates, flowers, and accessories Assist customers with product selection based on their preferences and needs, upselling where appropriate to enhance their experience Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, cash handling, and inventory management Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and appealing at all times Perform stock replenishment tasks, including stocking shelves and managing inventory levels using retail math skills Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and store policies related to cannabis sales and age restrictions Experience Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or specialty retail environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Experience conducting product demos or educational sessions to enhance customer engagement Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as change-making and inventory counts Knowledge of customer service best practices and phone etiquette in a fast-paced environment Experience with Dutchie and METRC This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about retail sales, customer service, and the exciting world of cannabis products.
