We make specialty cakes, desserts, and gourmet chocolates, and we're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bakery Kitchen & Retail Team Member to join our small, close-knit team. We pitch in, help each other out, and want everyone on our team to feel supported and valued. This is a hybrid bakery kitchen + retail role. You'll split your time between baking, prepping, finishing, and packaging our products and helping customers in our retail shop. You'll train closely with the owner and gradually take on more independence and responsibility. No need to know everything on day one - we'll teach you our recipes and systems. What matters most is that you're dependable, willing to learn, and take pride in your work. What You'll Do Prepare, bake, finish, and package cakes, desserts, and chocolates Assist with chocolate production, including molding, finishing, and packaging Prep ingredients and supplies and keep the kitchen clean and organized Greet and assist customers with friendly, knowledgeable service Run the POS, process purchases, and package customer orders Answer questions about our products and ingredients Keep the retail space clean, stocked, and welcoming Help with inventory, dishes, opening/closing, and other day-to-day needs Follow food safety and allergen protocols What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, coachable, and detail-oriented Comfortable moving between kitchen work and customer service Able to work independently and as part of a small team 18+ with reliable transportation Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs Baking, cake decorating, retail, or ServSafe experience is a plus, but not required Comfortable working around heat, refrigeration, commercial kitchen conditions, and major allergens Schedule & Pay Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM 16 hours/week to start, with room to grow $18-$22/hour, depending on experience Some schedule flexibility may be needed for events, deliveries, and busy seasons, with advance notice Perks 50% employee discount on bakery products 2 free drinks per 8-hour shift Hands-on training and a supportive small-team environment Opportunity for more hours and responsibility as the business grows If you're looking for a hands-on role where you can learn baking, cake, and chocolate production while gaining retail and customer-service experience, we'd love to hear from you!
