Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Budtender, where you'll be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for customers exploring our premium cannabis products. In this energetic role, you'll provide exceptional customer service, educate clients on product offerings, and ensure a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help customers make informed choices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing industry, supporting customers in discovering products that enhance their well-being and lifestyle. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs and preferences Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication Operate the POS (Dutchie Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and debit card processing Upsell complementary products to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales Maintain organized merchandising displays Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding age verification, product labeling, and sales limits Support team supervision by mentoring new staff members and maintaining a positive work environment Other duties and responsibilities as instructed Experience Must be 21+ years of age or older, background check is required Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a cannabis retail store or similar customer-focused environment. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions and product demos Excellent phone etiquette skills for professional remote communication Basic math proficiency for retail math calculations involving sales totals, discounts, and change Other duties and responsibilities as directed This vibrant role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the retail cannabis industry.
