Army Barracks, West Springfield, MA About Us:

Army Barracks is a one-of-a-kind Army/Navy retail store open to the public. We specialize in military surplus, camping, survival, and tactical gear , as well as airsoft guns and accessories —but we sell much more than that. Our stores are packed with a huge variety of men's, women's, and children's clothing, boots, headwear, gloves, backpacks, high-end knives, swords, and other unique novelty items. We're passionate about creating a memorable shopping experience that customers will want to return to and share with others.

Store hours are 10 AM

• 6 PM daily Typical shifts: 10 AM
• 6 PM or 12 PM
• 6 PM

GREAT WORKING HOURS!

! Weekend availability is required. You must be available both Saturday and Sunday to be considered for this position. (You will typically work one weekend day, but we need the option to schedule either.) If you are in school and can only work weekends, that could work too! This position has the potential to grow for the right candidates.

Hourly Pay:

Starts at $17.00 per hour Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly, helpful manner Operate the cash register/POS system for sales transactions Answer phone calls and emails professionally Work with team members and management to complete daily tasks Maintain a clean and organized sales floor Ensure every customer has an enjoyable and memorable shopping experience Qualifications Outgoing, energetic, and customer-focused personality Interest in learning about and selling our wide variety of products Strong communication skills with both customers and coworkers 1+ year of retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred, not required Must be 18 years or older Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and bend or crouch as needed Comfortable handling and discussing items such as airsoft guns, knives, and other weaponry-themed merchandise Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays If you enjoy interacting with people and want to be part of a fun, unique retail environment — we'd love to hear from you!
