Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, providing knowledgeable guidance on store offerings including produce, grocery items, and general merchandise Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels and process sales transactions efficiently Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure all products are properly packaged and merchandised to attract customer attention Use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to load, unload, and move inventory within the warehouse and sales floor Conduct inventory control activities including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and managing stock levels using inventory management systems Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment by performing routine cleaning duties and ensuring safety standards are met during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Support shipping & receiving processes by loading/unloading shipments while adhering to safe lifting practices and warehouse operations protocols Assist in maintaining accurate records of stock movements, shipments, and inventory discrepancies through detailed documentation Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries in multiple languages if applicable, enhancing communication with diverse clientele Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient retail operations, including merchandising updates and promotional displays Qualifications Previous retail store experience or familiarity with grocery or warehouse environments is preferred Proficiency in operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment is highly desirable Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock management Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and safe lifting practices throughout shifts Basic math skills for counting stock, processing transactions, and managing inventory records accurately Experience with shipping & receiving procedures or warehouse operations is advantageous Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers Join us today to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding retail experiences!
