Job Description

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY POSITION
Technology Support Assistant (PT) Effective immediately: Part-time Technology Support Assistant position in Wilmington University's Information Technology Department, Brandywine Campus.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A+ Certification is preferred. The candidate must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and analytical skills. Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to make decisions related to assigned projects independently. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Windows 11, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Must demonstrate respect for others in the workplace and a commitment to creating a supportive work environment that values the contributions of all employees. Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Respond to technology incidents and requests promptly and professionally via the University's ticketing system.
  • Field incoming help requests from end users via the ticketing system and phone calls in a courteous manner.
  • Support staff equipment both on campus and remotely.
  • Support student/faculty equipment, such as projectors or computer labs.
  • Assist with scheduled device replacements such as laptops, desktops, and projectors.
  • Support campus events, including but not limited to live-stream facilitation.
  • Promote and foster a supportive environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
  • All other duties assigned by Technology Support Management.
Hours of Employment:
Generally, Monday-Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (must be flexible with hours to meet the needs of the department/University).

Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
