Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. You should establish a personal trade and record contact activities in your assigned Client Book to ensure repeat business. You should be able to promptly resolve customer concerns and provide and exceptional customer experience . To be successful as a Sales Associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain the store's visual appearance in high standards on the sales floor and stockroom. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store's sales goals. Qualifications and Responsibilities Experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Service Representative, Key Holder or similar role Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service Follow and achieve store's sales goals on a daily, monthly and yearly basis Embody a friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus Demonstrate interpersonal skills that builds trust relationships with customers and co-workers Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features Team up with co-workers engaging in team selling and cross selling activities Process POS (point of sale) purchases, returns and inventory movement transactions Conduct inventory procedures and stock maintenance and light housekeeping duties Participate in marketing activities to increase sales Availability to work flexible day shifts, weekends, some holidays and during store special events Proficiency in English - email correspondence and perform proper phone etiquette Have basic math skills. High school diploma; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus but not required
