We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Spa Consultant to join our vibrant crew at Coastal Sun Spa . Your primary goal is to create an inviting, relaxing atmosphere while providing expert guidance on treatments and retail products. Position Overview As a Spa Consultant, you are the first point of contact for every guest and play a critical role in delivering an elevated Coastal Sun Spa experience. You'll greet and assist guests, maintain salon standards, and represent the brand with positivity and confidence. We're looking for individuals who are friendly, outgoing, motivated, and service-driven . Previous sales or retail experience is a plus but not required—personality, reliability, and a strong work ethic matter most. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Customer Service Greet guests warmly upon arrival and establish a friendly, professional rapport Create a personalized, one-of-a-kind experience for every guest Answer phones, book appointments, and respond to inquiries with excellent phone etiquette Build lasting relationships with new and returning guests Sales & Retail Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals Provide detailed explanations and demonstrations of spa services and retail products Recommend services and products tailored to guest needs, upselling when appropriate Promote new or featured services and retail items Accurately process transactions using POS systems, including cash handling and basic math Salon Cleanliness & Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting spa environment Complete daily and deep cleaning tasks throughout the salon Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining product displays Help prepare the salon for audits and inspections Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and communicate concerns to maintenance Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Ability to stoop, bend, and lift up to 10 pounds Ability to move efficiently in a fast-paced environment Customer service or retail sales experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $15-$25 per hour (blended pay) Hourly base pay plus commission Free luxury UV, sunless and spa services for employees 50% off retail products Ongoing training and professional development Leadership and advancement opportunities
