Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused
  • Retail Sales Consultant
  • to join our team.
The ideal candidate will excel in providing excellent service to customers, helping them find the perfect furniture to meet their needs, and achieving sales goals. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for home décor, and a desire to create a welcoming shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
  • Greet customers warmly and engage in consultative conversations to understand their needs.
  • Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and customization options.
Sales:
  • Meet or exceed sales targets through active listening and tailored recommendations.
  • Demonstrate furniture and accessory options in-store to help customers visualize their choices.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the store's product lines, promotions, and policies.
  • Stay updated on trends in furniture, interior design, and home décor.
Merchandising & Showroom Maintenance:
  • Assist in setting up attractive displays to highlight key products and promotions.
  • Ensure the showroom remains clean, organized, and inviting.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other sales associates and the store manager to achieve team goals.
  • Provide feedback on customer preferences to help inform inventory and marketing decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in furniture or home goods.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and close sales confidently.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
  • A passion for interior design or home furnishings is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move/lift furniture when assisting customers or reorganizing displays.
